The use of capacitor chargers has been investigated as a suitable solution for supplying energy to loads that need more power than the power supply. In feeding the sensors with low-power batteries, the use of the capacitor of the output stage in order to create instantaneous power for the load and the need to use the charger structure becomes important. This paper presents a switching converter for step-by-step charging of the output stage capacitor. The proposed structure with switching in DCM mode has prepared the ground for operation at low frequencies and reduced the total losses of switching and control part. Using a 0.18µm CMOS technology, the charger converter has been implemented. At low input power levels, the charger converter has reached a high efficiency, where it has reached a maximum efficiency of about 90.5%.
